How do you trim the blank after a forming analysis?

Usually the blank can be trimmed after forming simulation with an intermediate file – “dynain”. The following is a list of cards needed.

a) *ELEMENT_TRIM

b) *DEFINE_CURVE_TRIM – iges curve or line curve

c) *INTERFACE_SPRINGBACK_DYNA3D to output the mesh after trimming

d) Specifying the termination to be zero.
